Our company specializes in the reconditioning of used forestry tree service equipment: bucket trucks, chip dump trucks, wood chippers, and other related types of equipment. Throughout these processes each piece of equipment requires a different level of service depending on the customer's needs and desires. Our approach is to train across all lines of our reconditioning processes to make a person more valuable to our operations (more in your pocket) and to make the job more enjoyable presenting you with different challenges - breaking up the normal routine and not so much of the same old day in, day out work. You can expect to receive training in the following fields:
Truck and equipment mechanics
Vehicle engine management system diagnosis and repair
General vehicle wiring, trailer wiring, etc.
Welding and fabrication
Hydraulic cylinder rebuilding & manufacturing hydraulic hose assemblies
Paint and body shop help
How to operate equipment: forklifts, backhoes, etc.
Applicants are not required to have any experience in vehicle or truck mechanics, knowledge of tools, etc. Applicants are required to pay very close attention to detail and have the ability to take instruction, retain, and then apply such training. Various tasks may require lifting up to 50 pounds, climbing onto a work platform or ladder, etc.
Hours of operation are Monday through Friday 8:00am to 4:30pm. We offer worker's compensation, weekly pay, direct deposit, paid time off and paid holidays, work uniforms, and a drug-free workplace. Applicants are required to take a pre-employment drug screen (no cost to you). Pay is hourly. Applicants with no experience can expect to start in the $15-$17/hr. range. Individuals with prior knowledge or experience in any of the above mentioned fields and supporting credentials may be eligible for a higher starting wage. A new hire regardless of experience will qualify for a $1.00/hour raise after 90 days of employment.
