prime time shifts are preferred this includes mornings afternoons and evenings. weekends are they busiest and best time for money making,
Clean Background and Driving Record are a must. This is a requirement for registration with insurance and the City both.
We as a company also state our drivers have a clean background so even if you DV charge or DUI is 10 years old please don't waste your time or mine.
we do a 50/50 split of all the vehicle makes excluding tips to cover advertising, insurance, and maintenance.
A good knowledge of a modern cell phone is a must. Our company relies on apps such as flight trackers for airport shuttles and square point of sale. we will train you on all apps but unlimited data and phone storage are a must alongside a good phone plan.
We are also looking to sub contract out work to registered Uber and Lyft drivers. our pricing is as follows 15.00 for five miles 20.00 for up to 10.00 then 2.50 a mile for anything over 10 miles. Airports from St Augustine to jax is 120.00 from St Augustine to MCO 240.00 i would do a 15 percent on local rides and 30 percent on airport rides sub contracted out.
you will be required to have commercial insurance on your vehicle a clean background and dmv record as well as pass a drug test. your vehicle will need to be inspected by the city and you will have to get an ID badge for taxi work in the city limits.
