I am seeking an experienced developer to help fine-tune Your Choice Charities, an online auction platform that allows supporters to sell items and donate the proceeds to their chosen non-profits. Many charitable organizations struggle to accept non-cash donations, and our platform offers a simple, effective solution to bridge this gap.
The Current State of the Platform: The site is built using PHP Pro Bid, and while it is mostly functional, there are some glitches and reporting issues that need to be addressed. I am not looking to rebuild the platform from scratch but rather to optimize the existing system. The key areas of focus will be:
Fixing glitches and improving the overall user experience.
Enhancing reporting capabilities to ensure clarity and accuracy in transactions and data analytics.
Testing, deployment, and post-launch support to ensure smooth operation after changes are implemented.
What I'm Looking For:
A developer who has experience with PHP Pro Bid or similar auction platforms.
The ability to work with and enhance an existing system rather than starting fresh.
A comprehensive approach that includes testing, deployment, and ongoing post-launch support to ensure long-term success.
Important Requirements:
You must live within a 800-mile radius of Atlanta, Georgia, as there will be times when in-person meetings are necessary. Remote-only applicants will not be considered for this role.
