Job Description SummaryThe Bard Documentation Specialist’s primary purpose is a point of contact for external territory salesteam members for physician account support. The Bard Doc. Specialist is responsible for obtaining thenecessary documentation from physicians to substantiate a patient’s need for medical supplies andfacilitate submission of their request to their insurance. This role will be responsible for cultivatingprovider relationships by providing exceptional physician account support resulting in continuouscustomer referrals.Job Description1. Professionally contact physician office staff via phone, fax, and/or e-mail in order to obtain medicaldocumentation and troubleshoot customer prescription issues2. Develops and maintains knowledge in Medical Supplies and/or Insurance Guidelines3. Ability to identify and professionally resolve customer service related issues4. Works in conjunction with Sales to identify and support customer service related initiatives asdefined by company goals and objectives5. Meets or exceeds daily, weekly, and monthly inbound or outbound call goals in conjunction withproductivity measurements as communicated by their direct supervisors6. Adhere to phone activity/compliance standards to include Medicare guidelines, HIPAA, ACW, andminimum call volumes.7. Track daily production and submit daily sales logs to direct supervisor8. Ability to work through the Special Projects, Progress Notes, and/or Service Tickets needs asidentified from each account9. Ability to review patient accounts in Salesforce to ensure all medical documentation is received andany updates to medical documentation are reviewed in support of the patient’s supply needs1. Fosters positive interactions for physician’s office staff with Liberator Medical Supply, Inc. to aid inthe facilitation of continued long term working relationships2. Maintain a positive work atmosphere that embodies Liberator’s philosophy- Professional excellence,teamwork and integrity.3.
