The caregivers at Martin North Hospital have made it an excellent medical facility and a home away from home.As a Registered Nurse (RN) in Martin North Hospital's Progressive Care Unit (PCU), you will be responsible for providing direct nursing care, monitoring, recording and communicating patients' condition, implementing and monitoring patient care plans and administering medications and treatments. On this nursing team, you will feel supported and appreciated for the knowledge you must share, have access to our advanced technology and research to ensure all patients receive world-class care and make meaningful differences in patients' lives every day.The hours for this full-time position are 7PM-7:30AM.Required qualifications for the ideal candidate include: Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing. BSN preferred. Current state licensure as Registered Nurse (RN). Proof of Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) through American Heart Association (AHA) must be presented upon hire. Minimum one-year PCU RN experience. Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Requires full range of body motion including handling and lifting patient, manual and finger dexterity, and eye-hand coordination.
