Finance Manager

Part-Time Finance Manager

Established and fast paced executive law firm seeking a part-time on-site Finance Manager. This position would require 20 hours of work per week and candidate must have at least three years experience. Responsibilities will include day-to-day management of financial operations, monitoring financial performance, and managing financial transactions.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Preparing the company budget and reporting to management

2. Overseeing Accounts Payable, including payment of invoices

3. Overseeing Accounts Receivable, including invoicing and payment processing

4. Bi-weekly payroll processing

5. Process tax payments, including sales tax and employment taxes

6. Monthly general ledger reconciliations and reporting

7. Reconciliation of credit card statements

8. Assist with calls from customers and vendors

9. Complete tax preparation requests from Accountant during tax season

10. Prepare and respond to state and federal requirements, business licenses, dues & payments

Qualities:

1. Maintain confidentiality with customer, employee, and company information

2. Strong financial management skills, including budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis

3. Excellent oral and written communication skills

4. Highly organized

5. Ability to work efficiently and independently and collaboratively as part of a team

6. Attention to details and focused

7. Strong ability to meet deadlines and respond to others in a timely matter

Requirements & Skills:

1. Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field

2. QuickBooks experience required

3. Experience in the legal industry is preferred

4. Experience with financial software and systems

5. Certification such as CPA or CFA is preferred
