PSU takes administrative action against healthcare practitioners for violations of the licensee’s practice act. Your Specific Responsibilities:Responsible for purchasing goods and services and processing all invoices for expenses incurred by the Prosecution Services Unit related to expert witness and court reporting services; ensures compliance with section 245.422, F.S and chapter 3A-24, F.A.C., by coding invoices to the appropriate board, routing for approval and submitting to Finance and Accounting; processes purchase orders through MyFloridaMarketPlace (MFMP) or secures payment with a purchasing card (P-Card); and reconciles purchases within the unit. Provides technical assistance with MFMP to vendors; contacts vendors for cost comparisons, invoice requests and to resolve any discrepancies.Responsible for generating and providing invoices for all 456 requests; processes and routes checks received in the Prosecution Services Unit; processes P-Card charges in the WORKS system.Serves as a back-up to the other Administrative Assistants in the section.Assists with other duties as needed.Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Knowledge, skills and abilities, including utilization of equipment, required for the position. Ability to determine work priorities, assigns work, and ensures proper completion of work assignments. Ability to understand and apply applicable rules, policies and procedures regarding licensure and regulation of professionals, and consumer protection. Ability to compile, organize and analyze data. Ability to communicate effectively. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others. Qualifications:
