We're hiring a CEI Project Engineer / Project Administrator to support various transportation design-build projects throughout the Tallahassee and Florida panhandle areaThis role is a hybrid assignment working from project sites, remotely, and occasionally at the AECOM office in TallahasseeTo qualify as a CEI Project Engineer, candidates must have a Professional Engineer (PE) license registered in the State of Florida or must obtain an endorsement in the State of Florida within six (6) months of Project NTP if registered in another stateReceiving general instructions regarding assignments and exercising initiative and independent judgment in the solution of work problems related to transportation engineering and construction projectsDirecting and assigning specific tasks to administrative and field staff and assisting in all phases of the construction projectProgress estimates and final estimates throughout the construction project durationCommunicate effectively in English (verbally and in writing)Responsible for: Receiving general instructions regarding assignments and exercising initiative and independent judgment in the solution of work problemsResponsible for: Directing and assigning specific tasks to administrative and field staff and assisting in all phases of the construction project.Responsible for: Progress estimates and final estimates throughout the construction project durationUnder limited supervision, conducts work requiring independent evaluation, selection, adaptation and modification of standard techniques, procedures and criteriaIs fully competent in most aspects of the jobWorks on projects of substantial complexityMay assume lead responsibilities for a team of engineers and professional support personnel
