JOB SUMMARY: This is a Computer Support Tech III - Operations Review Specialist position in the General Tax Administration Program (GTA), Business Technology Office, Technical Support Unit. The incumbent supports GTA's audit and collection activities by acting as liaison between programs to resolve hardware, software and communication issues. The incumbent also administers the local LAN and Department network, coordinates system security requirements with Information Services Program (ISP), and performs networking audits to ensure security compliance and system integrity. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Currently employed with the Florida Department of Revenue.

Four years of professional experience in a technical support environment that required customer support and user interaction.

Experience researching system issues and implementing resolutions.

Experience supporting users on a Microsoft platform that includes Active Directory or Microsoft Office Suite.

SUBSTITUTIONS:

A bachelor's degree in an Information Technology field, from an accredited college or university can substitute for the required four years of technical support experience.

SPECIAL NOTES:

This position may require periodic travel to out-of-state service centers to address technical issues and conduct on-site IT reviews to promote efficient operations in our business processes.

SALARY: The hiring salary for this position generally will not exceed $4,466.90 monthly/$53,602.80 annually.
