Private Horse Facility is seeking a part time individual to assist grooming and exercising horses on the ground (long lining) and possibly under saddle based upon experience. Individual must possess the skills to handle large draft horses.
In order to be considered to ride individual MUST have three years of recent riding experience and be confident in the irons (preferably hunt seat, saddle seat or dressage).
Duties would include grooming, washing feathers, braiding manes, treating hoofs, long lining, cooling out and cleaning and putting away tack.
Schedule is extremely flexible and can be during the day, late afternoons, early evenings, or a combination as long as it is determined in advance and set as a schedule.
Please do not respond if you cannot handle large, big going horses, as this is not a position for someone without proper knowledge and experience. We have Friesians and Friesian Warmbloods.
