Job Details:

Title: System Developer

Duration: 19 months (with highly possible extension)

Location: Tallahassee, FL (First dayOnsite)


Job Duties:
  • Assist internal and external customers to produce detailed functional requirements of systems components to be programmed.
  • Efficiently program modules for use in backend systems whether it be a new module or an upgrade to existing functionality.
  • Assist in software configurations as required supporting the organizations' development needs and schedule.
  • Monitor and assist in tuning systems for the greatest performance.
  • Act as liaison with hosting provider to ensure the environment is optimized for application performance.
  • Provide planning and technical support for migration activities.
  • Provide assistance to ensure the security of deployed applications.
  • Provide technical documentation of work performed in a standard project team format.
  • Recognize and identify potential areas where existing applications require change, or where new applications need to be developed.



Required Skills:
  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field (or equivalent work experience.)
  • Seven (7) years or more of IT work experience with demonstrated knowledge in architecture design, software development, database management systems, and systems integration in multi-platform environments.
  • Requires advanced to expert level knowledge and understanding of architecture, applications systems design, and integration
  • Requires working knowledge of JAVA, Oracle Forms, Reports, and Graphics, PL/SQL, Oracle 10g, 11g, 12c, and UNIX Operating System.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and work in a team environment.
  • A minimum of 2 years of programming/systems analysis experience.
