Position Overview
We are seeking compassionate Caregivers to provide essential care and support to individuals with developmental disability. As a Caregiver, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for those requiring assistance with daily activities.
Position Details
Type: Contract (1099).
Pay: $16.27 - $16.95 per hour.
Expected hours: 10 – 50 per week.
Schedule: All.
Location: In person at client’s residence.
Duties
Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, grooming, dressing.
Prepare and serve meals according to dietary needs.
Provide direct support and companionship to individuals, including those with autism.
Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment.
Drive clients to appointments or outings as needed.
Minimum Requirements
At least one year of verifiable experience working directly with individuals receiving services in a medical, psychiatric, nursing, or childcare setting or working with recipients who have a developmental disability; OR 30 Semester hours, 45 quarter-hours, or 720 classroom hours of college or vocational school.
Background Check (Local & Level II) with fingerprints.
Valid driver's license, registration, liability insurance and reliable transportation for client transport.
Current Certificate of Completion – First-Aid, CPR, AED.
Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and maintaining client confidentiality.
Ability to lift and move clients with mobility limitations.
Experience in home care or senior care is a plus.
