I am a quadriplegic (a person with a spinal cord injury) and need someone to work as a personal care assistant for me. Because of my paralysis, I have very limited use of my arms and no use of my legs. I use a power wheelchair to get around and have a modified van and home. I currently have 2 people working for me and need additional assistance, especially on weekend mornings The work involves stretching, bathing and dressing me and then getting me up in my power chair. Also, feeding me breakfast (usually very simple, like a banana and yogurt). There may also be some other minor duties moving papers around, etc. Unfortunately, this is not a lot of hours, but it could always turn into more. Also, I have an overhead lift so no lifting required by the person doing the job.
