Exclusive Land and Tree Services, Inc. (ELT) is a professional tree company offering services in the Tallahassee, Florida area. Our Crane/Equipment Operators work with tree crews to assist with removing trees located in areas where traditional tree removal techniques are just not feasible. Additionally, ELT does provide external crane service to customers needing assistance with basic rigging and moving of equipment unrelated to the tree service.
FLSA Classification: Non-Exempt
The typical work week is 40-50 hours, Monday through Friday with occasional weekends.
The pay rate is commensurate with experience.
CDL A License is required. A minimum of one year crane operation experience is required and crane certification with boom truck style crane is preferred.
The preferred candidate will have some experience utilizing cranes for tree removal, however; consideration will be given to candidates that demonstrate a willingness to learn. Technical skills and training that are needed to succeed in this role will be provided through on-the-job training.
Experience in operating the following equipment is also a plus:
· Bucket truck
· Mini excavator
· Rigging
· Towing 30' and trailer-equipment transportation
· Skid steer

· Must be at least 21 years of age
· Must be able to work shifts that are 8 or more hours per day
Physical Requirements:
· Ability to perform work in the field, in all weather conditions, throughout the service territory.
· Ability to move/lift objects that range from 50-100 pounds or more regularly.
· Must be able to remain in a stationary position at least 50% of the time.
· Ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
· Must be able to wear personal protective (PPE) gear.
