We are hiring for a receptionist and a back-office assistant, 2 separate positions.
Department: Client Services / Front Office Operations Employment Type: Seasonal, Hourly Work Schedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday (8 AM-5 PM), including weekdays and every other Saturday. Overtime is expected during peak season.

Position Summary
As our new Seasonal Receptionist in the Tallahassee office, your day begins by preparing the front desk and reviewing the appointment schedule. You will greet clients, answer and route phone calls, schedule appointments, and ensure client documents are properly printed, processed, and organized for preparers. Throughout the day, you will manage secure document drop-offs and pick-ups, perform accurate data entry, and provide ongoing administrative support to the team. During peak tax season, the environment is quite fast-paced and requires strong multitasking, attention to detail, and a professional, client-focused attitude. You will be the first impression of the business, so beginning each day with a good attitude and a smile goes a long way! Some days will include extended hours and Saturdays as client volume increases.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Perform accurate data entry in office and tax preparation systems
Answer and route incoming telephone calls using professional phone etiquette
Print, process, and organize client documents for preparers and administrative staff
Schedule and manage client appointments in coordination with office workflow
Facilitate secure client document pick-up and drop-off
Provide general administrative and front-desk support as assigned
Assist with additional duties as needed to support peak-season operations
Work Schedule and Seasonal Requirements
Position begins in December and concludes in mid-April
Typical hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday–Friday
Hours increase mid-season to approximately 35–45 hours per week beginning mid-January
Every other Saturday required (9:00 AM – 3:00 PM)
Overtime is expected during peak tax weeks
