We are seeking a motivated and creative Social Media Intern to join our dynamic marketing team. This internship offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in social media marketing, digital advertising, and content creationand SEO. The ideal candidate will assist in developing and implementing social media strategies that enhance our brand presence and engage our audience across various platforms.
Florida Motorsports is a full-service motorcycle, dirt bike, ATV and SxS, dealer headquartered in Tallahassee; providing North Florida and South Georgia with every model of new and used Ducati, Triumph, KTM, Polaris, Stark, Gem Car and Kayo machines We are your one stop shop for everything Powersports. We are seeking motivated and creative interns to assist with our social media and marketing efforts as we have recently rebranded and expanded our services.

Duties
Assist in creating and scheduling engaging content for social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn.
Conduct social listening to monitor brand mentions and industry trends, providing insights for strategy adjustments.
Support the execution of digital marketing campaigns, including advertising initiatives across social media channels.
Collaborate with the marketing team to develop graphic design elements for posts and promotions.
Utilize tools like Hootsuite for managing social media accounts and tracking performance metrics.
Proofread content to ensure clarity, accuracy, and adherence to brand voice before publication.
Research e-commerce trends and competitor strategies to inform content development.
Participate in brainstorming sessions for new campaign ideas and promotional strategies.
● Content Creation: Develop engaging and visually appealing content for social media
platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and TikTok.
● Video Production: Assist in filming, editing, and producing high-quality videos that
highlight our services and client testimonials.
● Social Media Management: Schedule and post content, monitor engagement, and
respond to comments and messages in a timely manner.
● Marketing Campaigns: Collaborate with the marketing team to plan and execute social
media campaigns that promote our new products and services.
● Analytics: Track and analyze the performance of social media posts and campaigns,
providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
● Research: Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in social media, in the Powersports Industry to ensure our content remains relevant and engaging.
● Customer Interaction: Engage with our online community, fostering positive
relationships and enhancing the overall customer experience.

Skills
Familiarity with digital marketing concepts and social media marketing strategies.
Knowledge of advertising principles and experience with online ad platforms is a plus.
Proficiency in graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) is preferred but not mandatory.
Strong proofreading skills with attention to detail to ensure high-quality content output.
Ability to analyze data from web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) to assess campaign performance.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a knack for storytelling through social media.
A proactive attitude with the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
