The role involves conducting line changeovers, mechanical set-up of all equipment in accordance with the packaging schedule, providing lead direction and training to other staff, and performing technical and specialized mechanical set-up duties.Job Responsibilities:
Carry out responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies, procedures, and state, federal, and local laws.
Conduct required monthly preventative maintenance on all packaging equipment.
Perform troubleshooting and repairs of packaging and processing equipment, and mechanical and control systems.
Perform scheduled and other maintenance of all packaging equipment and specialized and critical repairs.
Perform packaging line set-ups and changeovers as needed.
Qualifications:
Experience within BFS (Blow Fill Seal) operations.
Experience as a Packaging Mechanic with an understanding of Packaging Technology.
A minimum of 5 years of experience working directly with manufacturing and packaging equipment and systems.
Minimum 3 years of mechanical engineering experience in a regulated Food/OTC Pharmaceuticals manufacturing environment.
3+ years of experience with BFS operations.
Experience with Rommelag machines (model numbers: 321186, 321165, 460114, 460267, and 461002).
Knowledge of GMP, packaging, aseptic processing, machine operating, and machine set-up.
