We are a small startup company that is focused on working with education. Established in 2023 we are now in need of some financial administrative support to organize our financials.
Initially, this would be a remote variable hour 1099 Independent Contractor position for an experienced Bookkeeper with more than 5 years of experience.
Must be fluent in English with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy with Strong organizational and time management skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information and proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
Ideally, the individual should have the following attributes:
Good communication skills
Strong knowledge of QuickBooks
Strong knowledge of using spreadsheets
Organization skills with receipts and expenses
Ability to reconcile bank and credit card account
Know how to classify transactions
Clean up vendor and supplier lists
Clean up expense reporting and invoices
Run financial reports
Some limited Tax pre-preparation
