Position Summary
We are seeking a Payroll Specialist to join our team full-time in our Largo office. This position plays a key role in supporting our clients’ payroll and related compliance needs while also assisting with front-office responsibilities. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, professional, and comfortable communicating directly with clients in person and over the phone.
Responsibilities:
-Process payroll for multiple small business clients accurately and on schedule
-Handle payroll tax filings, new hire reporting, and year-end forms (W-2, 1099, etc.)
-Maintain up-to-date payroll records and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations
-Serve as a point of contact for payroll-related client questions
-Answer incoming calls and greet clients in a professional, friendly manner
-Provide administrative support as needed to ensure smooth office operations
Qualifications:
-Minimum of 2 years of payroll processing experience (public accounting or multi-client environment preferred)
-Strong knowledge of payroll tax rules, deductions, and compliance requirements
-Proficiency with payroll software (experience with Gusto, QuickBooks Payroll, or similar platforms a plus)
-Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills
-Positive, professional demeanor with strong attention to detail
-Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information responsibly
Schedule:
Monday through Friday
100% in-office position (no remote work)
