Temporary Hybrid Bookkeeping Position

Tower Legal Solutions is seeking an experienced bookkeeping professional to work with one of our clients in Clearwater, FL. This is a 3-month temporary hybrid role working 3 days onsite and 2 days remote. The bookkeeper position provides support to the organization's accounting department serving multiple entrepreneurial businesses. This support includes processing accounts payable, accounts receivable, credit card transactions, cash balances and expense reports using QuickBooks Online.

The bookkeeper ensures invoices are properly generated, entered accurately, and recorded in a timely manner. This role also requires the maintenance of records and support for account receivable reporting for multiple entities.

Duties & Responsibilities may include but not limited to the following:

- Process accounts payable by sorting invoices by entity, scanning and file naming according to established conventions and distributing to designated accountant.

- Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues.

- Verify approval on all invoices, payments, and check requests.

- Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments.

- Compile and manage credit card expenses and receipts.

- Audit and verify expense reports.

- Verify vendor accounts by reconciling monthly statements.

- Monitor and maintain accounts to ensure payments are up to date.

- Correspond with vendors and contractors and respond to inquiries.

- Produce reports and provide supporting documentation as requested.

- Assist with month end closing.

- Complete special projects as assigned.

Qualifications & Skills:

- Experience with workout, turnaround or receivership is a plus

- QuickBooks Online experience required.

- Salesforce experience

- 2+ years of Bookkeeping and/or Accounts Receivable experience

- Knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access).

- Strong attention to detail & ability to work independently.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Strong data entry and organizational skills.

- Exceptional focus on project follow-through.

- Ability to work well with others in a fast-paced environment.
