Description We are seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in Tampa, Florida. In this role, you will be responsible for the accurate and efficient processing of invoices, as well as maintaining and reconciling customer accounts. This position plays a crucial role in our financial operations, ensuring the effective management of our accounts payable system.Responsibilities: Review invoices for accuracy and ensure they are correctly entered into our system. Code non-PO items to the General Ledger (GL). Match invoices with their corresponding documentation for entry into our software. Conduct month-end account reconciliations to ensure all data is accurate. Carry out additional accounting tasks as necessary. Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when needed. Handle customer inquiries promptly and professionally.Requirements Applicant must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in an Accounts Payable Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel. Exceptional organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Strong attention to detail and ability to spot numerical errors. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
