Annuity Policy Change Specialist II

Job Location: Must be commutable distance to MetLife Office - Tampa FL, West Des Moines, IA, Warwick RIIn office once a month for office meetingsThe Opportunity The Policy Change Specialist II is responsible for analyzing, validating, and processing intermediate to moderately complex non-financial transactions and basic financial transactions. Responds to basic to complex inquiries, resolves simple to complex transactions. Success in this role requires good customer service skills and attention to detail. The Policy Change Specialist II is responsible for processing customers’ requests that were received not in good order status and work with the customer to get the request in good order. You’ll collaborate closely with a variety of post issue teams in an environment where every contribution is respected, and every perspective is heard.How You’ll Help Us Build a Confident Future (Key Responsibilities)

Processing remittance.

Outbound calls and letters to customers and agents.

Processing and compliance as related to Reg 60.

Processing beneficiary continuations of annuity contracts.

Performs project work and other related duties as assigned or required.

Completes letters, tasks and problem solving for resolution of customer issues.

Contributes ideas that enhance service quality.

What You Need to Succeed (Required Qualifications)

High School Diploma.

Demonstrated critical thinking in activities requiring analysis, investigation, and/or planning.

Strong problem solving and analytical skills.

Ability to work independently.

Comfortable working with multiple priorities in a changing environment.

Ability to prioritize and maintain quality.

Positive and professional attitude.

Demonstrate customer centric focus and strong partnering skills.

What Can Give You an Edge (Additional Skills)

Associate level or higher degree.

At least 2 years experience in a direct customer service position preferred.
