Develop, test, implement and maintain application software working with established processes

Design, implement and maintain Universe within all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)

Communicate effectively with other engineers and QA

Establish, refine and integrate development and test environment tools and software as needed

Identify production and non-production application issues

Identify opportunities to fine-tune and optimize applications of Universe developed projects

Provide technical support and consultation for Universe application and infrastructure questions

High School Diploma/GED (or higher)

3+ years of experience in full Software Development Life Cycle

3+ years of experience working as a database developer within Pick System / multivalued database environments

3+ years of development experience within a collaborative environment

Preferred Qualifications:

Healthcare industry claims processing experience

Experience with Universe and/or D3 Programming language and database

Experience with API’s between Universe/D3 database environments and other environments

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
