The Financial Reporting Senior Analyst will be part of the U.S. Regulatory Reporting team. The main objective of this position is the preparation of internal and external U.S. Regulatory Reports and management of the System Operations and End-User-Computing products for Citigroup.This position will require preparation and analysis of data for the quarterly CER and FSB filing as well as preparation of responses to Federal Reserve questions. ReportingThe Finance Reporting Analyst is a senior analyst level position responsible for the generation, tracking and submission of financial reports in coordination with the Finance Team.The main objective of this position is the preparation of global internal and external U.S. Regulatory Reports and managements of the System Operations and End-User-Computing products for Citigroup. Prepare and submit regulatory reports including FFIEC009 (Country Exposure Report), FR2436 and FR 2510; be responsible for preparation and analysis of regulatory reports for various Citi legal entities and improvement of report filings. Liaise with corporate regulatory and financial reporting entities, treasury, finance, and other affiliate teams to represent the needs of the Regulatory Reporting function; coordinate and provide support and training to other areas of the business globally to ensure completeness and accuracy of reporting and provide support to management in various ad hoc projects.Responsibilities:

Support the analysis and submission of reports to various constituencies (local regulators, SEC, Fed, OCC, etc.) based on requirements such as US GAAP, US Regulatory, and local statutory reporting

Assist with closing the books and sub-ledgers, including passing appropriate required adjustment entries and consolidating financials at the end of each accounting period

Perform analysis of financial results and conclude cause of variances such as accounting issues and economic events

Produce metrics to senior management highlighting key issues and remediation status and maintain and enhance related operational and analytical procedures

Assist in the development of process efficiencies and improvement efforts as well as data quality improvement projects

Interpret policies, guidelines, and processes and resolve complex problems and transactions

Assist with the management of one or more processes, reports, procedures, or products

Has the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision.

Can exercise independence of judgement and autonomy.

Acts as SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team members.

Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Finance/Accounting or equivalent in experience

5+ yrs. Financial Services Industry Reporting & Analysis Experience required, Project Management experience desired

Proficient in Microsoft Office with an emphasis on MS Excel (Mandatory)

Working knowledge of related industry practices and standards

Ability to work with multiple functions

Proven problem-solving skills

Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills

Must have US work authorization, this position is not sponsoring visas
