Position Overview:
As a Baker, youll be crafting a range of baked goods for both production and direct sale at Wrights Gourmet House.
Key Responsibilities:
Create high-quality bakery items following Wrights recipes.
Decorate using glaze, icing, and other toppings.
Prepare various specialty trays (dessert, cookie, breakfast).
Cut and wrap baked goods like dessert bars and bread loaves.
Coordinate with culinary and guest services for timely service.
Follow recipes precisely, ensuring quality and portion size.
Maintain cleanliness, equipment, and a safe work environment.
Assist guests, share information about Wrights, and support other departments.
Perform administrative tasks and ensure excellent guest experiences.
Skills & Requirements:
Preferably 6 months of recent baking experience in high-volume settings.
Ability to operate various bakery equipment and tools.
Effective communication skills.
Calm and flexible under pressure.
Basic math skills and attention to detail.
Physical Demands:
High standards of personal hygiene and appearance.
Frequently lift or move items up to 50 pounds.
Comfortable working in fast-paced, high-volume environments.
Other Requirements:
Pass pre-employment background check.
