Description We are looking for a Controller to join our team located in Tampa, Florida. The selected candidate will play a key role in our organization, overseeing operational accounting, assisting with cash management, and producing financial reports. This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity where you will be a part of a collaborative environment and will be expected to contribute to the growth of our business.Responsibilities: Oversee operational accounting tasks to ensure accuracy and efficiency. Assist with cash management and planning processes. Produce comprehensive financial reports on a regular basis. Contribute to the growth of small to mid-sized businesses by implementing and improving policies and procedures. Collaborate with team members and other departments to ensure financial operations are running smoothly. Manage monthly book closing procedures and ensure all financial data is accurate. Assist in the preparation and consolidation of financial statements. Handle inventory work and ensure all records are updated and accurate. Use Quickbooks Online and other accounting software systems to manage financial data. Conduct financial auditing and budgeting processes. Prepare cash flow forecasts and conduct cash flow analysis.
