ROLE SUMMARYThe Meetings, External Engagements, and Travel (MEET) Corporate Card and Travel Senior Manager will work with the Global Corporate Card & Travel Lead and with Regional Corporate Card & Travel Leads to operationalize Pfizer's global corporate travel program, which will enable global meetings operations using infrastructure, technology, corporate policy, managing costs and rebates. This Senior Manager will also support the management and execution of Pfizer's corporate card partnerships and operations.This Senior Manager must demonstrate accountability and integrity in the face of challenge and respond to change with agility, optimism, and innovation. This Senior Manager will collaborate cross-functionally to help identify opportunities for continuous improvement that will allow the MEET organization to better serve its customers.The role will work closely with Regional Corporate Card & Travel Leads and other colleagues across MEET CoEs. He/she will report to the Global Corporate Card and Travel Lead.
Work with Regional Corporate Card & Travel Leads to execute Pfizer's corporate card operations including Travel & Expense (T&E), Purchasing Card, and Meeting Card programs and outsourced resources.
Work with the MEET Regional Leads to execute MEET's corporate card strategy including account controls, card application, issuance, and closure, and determine if a second or alternative card is needed in select markets.
Work with MEET Regional Leads to collect commissions from 9,000 hotels globally and over $10M in rebates earned through Pfizer's travel and meetings activity.
Ensure consistency across regions in the implementation and execution of Pfizer's corporate card program, escalating any challenges or opportunities for improvement to the Global Corporate Card & Travel Lead
On an as-needed basis, participate in supplier selection activities and drive supply-based optimization for complex categories.
Provide direction to the global Travel Management Company on day-to-day issues, policy updates, process improvements, and industry changes; escalate issues to Global Corporate Card & Travel Lead as needed.
Serve as point of escalation for Regional Corporate Card & Travel Leads in resolving travel customer service issues (agency, online bookings, hotel, air, rental car, rail, and car service)
Review global online booking tool functionality and recommend adjustments to support global travel program and ease of use.
In partnership with Regional Corporate Card & Travel Leads, oversee regional implementation of technologies and infrastructure to support travel and meetings, ensuring a consistent global approach and experience.
Support the enhancement and ongoing maintenance of relevant policies and procedures.
Create and disseminate user-facing Pfizer travel and meetings information and educational content for Pfizer and Global Business Services (GBS) tools.
Support global lead in developing strategies for risk mitigation, business continuity, cost management and operational efficiency; work with Regional Corporate Card & Travel Leads to implement as needed.
Benchmark external industry best practices and lead the adoption within Pfizer as applicable.
Partner with the global Travel Management Companies and other suppliers to meet service levels, resolve service issues, and report progress.
Work with external suppliers' product management teams on future product enhancements, major upgrades, and new ancillary products
Ability to present to executive leadership and manage relationships with stakeholders globally.
Enhance operations through data collection and analysis, and present key trends to Global Corporate Card and Travel lead on a regular basis.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Typical Years of Experience: 7+ years (6+ years with MBA/MS) of experience in management, travel, meetings, events, oversight of global accounts, and associated compliance controls (incl. audit and/or finance experience)
Minimum of bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related discipline
Fluency in English is a must, additional languages preferred.
Understanding and awareness of the technology landscape that supports MEET.

Strong accounting, analytical thinking and problem-solving skills

Weekend work could be necessary based on volumes.Work location assignment: On premiseThe annual base salary for this position ranges from $113,900.00 to $189,700.00. In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer's Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 17.5% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program. The annual base salary for this position in Tampa, FL ranges from $102,500.00 to $170,800.00.
