Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Data Analyst in the non-profit sector, based in Tampa, Florida. In this role, you will be largely responsible for managing and integrating large datasets, developing and implementing complex Excel functions, and ensuring data accuracy across different departments. You will also play a crucial role in the annual closing process and report directly to the Director of Budgets and Grants.Responsibilities: Design and maintain intricate Excel workbooks for project tracking and reporting. Develop and implement advanced formulas, macros, and pivot tables in Excel. Consolidate data from multiple Excel spreadsheets across different departments to create a unified project document. Ensure data accuracy and consistency throughout the integration process. Manage and integrate large datasets from diverse sources. Utilize data mining techniques and data visualization tools. Use Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft tools to manipulate data. Create dashboards to present data in a visually appealing and understandable manner. Collaborate with team members across departments to gather and verify information. Participate actively in the annual closing process. Requirements Proficient in data mining techniques Excellent data visualization skills Experience with Informatica Knowledgeable in Maps API Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, especially Microsoft Excel Familiarity with AB Testing Strong understanding of analytics Experience with Business Intelligence (BI) Ability to create and manage Business Requirement Documents Experience creating dashboards Proficient in Excel Formulas Knowledge of Excel VBA Experience with Macros Skilled in using VLOOKUP Familiarity with Pivot Table Previous experience in a non-profit environment is a plus Strong written and verbal communication skills Detail-oriented and able to work independently Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent work experience.
