Come be a part of what makes us so special!The OpportunityAs a dedicated Director, Owned Channel Enablement, you will be responsible for developing and executing digital strategies and programs (online, social, mobile) that support the branding and marketing efforts of USAA. These programs include web content management and search optimization, paid search, email marketing, social and online advertising campaigns. Specifically, this role will implement digital marketing programs to drive high-quality traffic to the website in support of demand generation campaigns.We offer a flexible work environment that requires an individual to be in the office 4 days per week. This position can be based in one of the following locations: San Antonio, TX, Plano, TX, Phoenix, AZ, Colorado Springs, CO, Charlotte, NC or Tampa, FL. Relocation assistance IS available for this position.What you'll do:

Manages to Digital Marketing goals and partners with Brand Marketing for campaign alignment.

Partners with Digital channel managers to support Digital product and servicing goals.

Drives team to innovate new channels and recommends marketing optimization techniques.

Manages prioritization and trade-offs for member experience, performance and operational support requirements.

Continuously anticipates and responds to new demands, priorities, challenges, or obstacles.

Defines and articulate a clear role and direction for own work unit, consistent with the organization's mission, strategy, and direction.

Utilizes strong analytical ability to evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touch points.

Brainstorms new and creative growth strategies through digital marketing with other marketing leaders to improve marketing ROI.

Oversees the planning, execution, and measurement of conversion tests. Develops digital marketing strategy by studying external conditions, tracking changes in the marketplace, and monitoring the competition.

Develops roadmap to deliver emerging capabilities that support key business and customer needs.

Influences and leads cross-functional teams to deliver key business outcomes.

Provides ongoing and continuous updates related to industry trends, planning and performance goals, and make recommendations to critical stakeholders and senior executive leadership.

Identifies, negotiates agreements, and oversees agreements with relevant third-party vendors

Builds and oversees a team of employees for assigned functional area through ongoing execution of recruiting, development, retention, coaching and support, performance management, and managerial activities.

Ensures risks associated with business activities are effectively identified, measured, monitored, and controlled in accordance with risk and compliance policies and procedures.

What you have:

Bachelor’s degree; OR 4 years of related experience (in addition to the minimum years of experience required) may be substituted in lieu of degree.

8 years of experience in successful Customer Acquisition Marketing for a high-volume consumer facing internet product line, to include 5 or more years of experience in Digital Marketing including Owned, Paid Merchandising assets.

3 years of direct team lead or management experience.

Demonstrated experience influencing digital optimization technique.

Experience in multiple Digital channels (mobile, dotcom and other emerging channels).

Demonstrated leadership in managing teams, large scale projects and people (coaching, performance management and employee development), influencing business strategies and solutions, and applying innovative approaches to address business problems and solutions.

Holistic understanding of the digital marketing operations and scientific/quantitative analytics.

Proven track record of effectively developing and implementing digital marketing strategies that drive customer demand.

Experience as digital marketing process subject matter expert to include understanding and application of content compliance requirements.

You are paid within the salary range based on your experience and market data of the position. The actual salary for this role may vary by location.
