You are a problem solver with the ability to drill down with details while maintain line of sight with the North Star vision and objectives working with Engineering Vice Presidents, Engineering Teams, and Stakeholders.In this role, you should be able to: Collaborate closely with Engineering VPs, Directors/Principals, in addition to Product Managers, and other engineering teams across Mastercard to deliver high-quality Gen AI capabilities through iterative lifecycle, with build/test iterations. Assess and lead complex, technical, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. Collaborate with stakeholders and Product Owners to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules across stakeholders and dependent teams, and communicate clearly with cross-functional teams. Take responsibility for release schedules and milestones, keeping up a high velocity in a fast-paced environment. Manage workflow, track delivery metrics, and ensure alignment with stakeholders and dependent teams. Works with Engineering Teams & Product Owner to prepare for the Release Demos. Invested in "Building the Right Product" and "Building the Product Right". Capture, assess and track engineering team’s capacity and velocity.Technical Program Manager collaborates and partners with Product Owner/Product Manager, and Engineering Leads, to provide end-to-end Program Management and Agile/Data Science iterative delivery, which comprise of: Lead quarterly and iteration planning. Facilitate the process with features and stories sizing, serve as subject-matter-expert to ground the team on execution approach and methodology. Partner with Product Owner and Engineering Leader with iterative quarterly planning in terms of features grooming and readiness for execution. Facilitate retrospective – gather input, drive multi-team collaboration and continuous improvement. Scope of work in terms of program management – Align with Product Owner and Engineering to ensure content quality in Jira. Track delivery progress at Gen AI product engineering team level, with line of sight on program scope delivery. Actively manage cross-team dependencies and other Mastercard teams and Executive stakeholders to ensure alignment. Actively track and mitigate risk and issues through resolution. Produce weekly status report – which comprised of both strategic initiatives and BAU scope of work.ALL ABOUT YOU Greater than 15+ years’ demonstrated experience with managing multi-stakeholder and cross-functional teams in a global organization or equivalent type organization. Ability to assess and define structure and implementation approach working with Engineering VP and Product Owner roles. Play a key role in bridging technical and software engineering use cases: Developer SCM tools (i.e. GitHub, Bitbucket, GitLab), GenAI Code Assistants (i.e. GitHub Copilot, Amazon Q Developer), AI/GenAI cloud platforms (i.e. Amazon SageMaker, Amazon Bedrock, Azure ML, Azure Open AI Service, Google GCP Vertex, Google Gemini, Databricks) ensure scopes are feasible, aligned with roadmap with tangible and measurable business outcomes. Ability to communicate to executives, peers, and staff with impact, eloquence, and authenticity. Demonstrated experience building relationships, partnering with, and influencing dependent teams. while commanding the respect of the individuals you work with across the organization. Lead and coach teams new to Agile/Scrum methodologies with iterative delivery. Coordinate cross-functionally to remove blockers and manage dependencies. Align and ensure end-to-end solution success and readiness. Work collaboratively to guide new teams through the forming, storming, and norming phases. Provide and accept continuous feedback in the spirit of continuous improvement. Monito/Communicate delivery progress. In line with Mastercard’s total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary based on location, experience and other qualifications for the role and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role.
