A bit about us:
We are a national building automation and energy services provider with private financial backing that provides full-scope building smart building automation to help building owners and managers improve efficiency and reduce operational costs while improving comfort for tenants.
We are looking for an experienced controls engineer/technician with a strong building automation or HVAC controls background to service our overseas US Embassy clients.
Expectations:
You must be a US citizen and be able to obtain a government clearance.
While in the US, you can be either remote from your location or local to Birmingham.
You will do the programming while in the US and then go overseas to implement everything top to bottom.
Expected overseas travel is 28-30 weeks per yeartypically in 3-week increments and no longer than 5 weeks at a time.
While abroad, you will be in the custody of the US embassy and escorted as such. They will provide flight, lodging, drivers to the site, etc.

Job Details
MUST HAVE:
Ability/willingness to travel + live overseas
Strong BAS/BMS controls experience with one or more of the following platforms:
Tridium Niagara - Delta Controls
Schneider Electric - Trane
Johnson controls - Distech
Automated Logic - Siemens
US Citizen + ability to obtain clearance (clean background)
BAS/BMS, HVAC controls, or DDC controls programming experience
