Job DescriptionInsight Global's engineering client is looking for a Lead Forensic Structural Engineer to join their team in Tampa, FL! The position requires travel about 3x per week to different sites in central and northern Florida.Their main responsibilities include managing structural forensic engineering assignments, performing forensic engineering assessments, providing verbal/written reports for insurance carriers, attorneys, homeowners, property managers, etc. This person will also serve as an expert for multiple litigation cases.The candidate must be comfortable with being exposed to field conditions, including but not limited to : ladders, walking on a variety of roof coverings, accessing roof attic or floor crawlspaces, walking, and assessing interior and exterior conditions.We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day. Travel/Gas will be expensed by NV5 · B.S. Degree in Civil, Structural, or Architecture Engineering; M.S.
