Are you ready to make a difference?Come Join Our TeamCognosante provides services in support of the Military OneSource Program for military members and their families, similar to a commercial Employee Assistance Program (EAP). This program provides a broad array of information, resources, referrals, and counseling to about 4.7 million persons or “participants,” which includes military service members, their families, and eligible civilians at locations worldwide. Services are provided through a 24/7 contact center accessible via internet website, toll free telephone, secure real-time text/video chat, email, or postal mail and include non-medical counseling; financial counseling; tax assistance; spouse education and career information; adoption information; child care; Exceptional Family Member Programs (EFMPs); deployment support; disability information; elder care; educational services for adults, children, and youth; relocation services; pet care; health and wellness coaching; housing assistance; legal service referrals; single service member services; lodging; military benefits; relationship support; skill building services for parenting; spouse relocation and transition; peer-to-peer support; and support for everyday issues (e.g., locating a plumber or automobile mechanic). What is the position?Field Consultants travel throughout their state and/or region, as directed, and approved by MC&FP, to support events that increase awareness of military community services, collaborate with existing family support resources, identify recommendations to address service gaps, and form relationships with community service providers, military services, and regional and local representatives. Field consultants will support Service members and families from all Components with special emphasis on those who are geographically isolated from installation support.What will I get to do ?Specific responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

Travel throughout assigned region, as directed, and approved by MC&FP

Provide Service members and families with information and referrals and support for events to increase awareness of military community services including, but not limited to, relocation assistance, non-medical individual and family counseling, personal and family life education, PFM services, information and referral services, deployment assistance, SECO, exceptional family member services, child abuse prevention and response services, domestic violence prevention and response services, MWR services, and transition assistance, when requested and approved by the Government

Maintain an online repository of state-specific information on Government approved family programs and support resources

Identify problems and/or gaps in available services/resources and determine methods to fill gaps and enhance existing support system efforts, in collaboration with Military OneSource, DoD, State Joint Force HQ, and civilian community resources

Participate in, and facilitate collaboration between, military and civilian agencies to improve coordination

Provide briefings and trainings to share information that brings related groups together (e.g., unit/command members, staff, volunteers, etc.), when approved by the Government

What qualifications do I need?Qualifications required for this position include:

US Citizen and fluent English speaker

Possess strong customer service skills, knowledge of call center operations, and knowledge of the military lifestyle

Holds a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent work experience)

Possesses 5 years of prior military experience as: Active Duty, National Guard, or Reserve service member, orthe spouse of a member, orrelevant civilian knowledge and experience working in Military Service programs (military departments and family service-type programs)

Must undergo criminal history and fingerprint check

Must submit to and successfully pass a DoD-initiated Tier 2 (Low-Risk) Suitability Investigation.

Must be willing to travel up to 80% within assigned geographical area of responsibility, usually by own vehicle

Must reside within 50 miles of:MacDill AFB, FL or Patrick AFB, FL

Fluently bilingual English-Spanish

Prior experience in marketing, recruiting, counseling, and/or academic instruction

Compensation$77,059.11 - $124,450.68The pay range for this job is determined by various factors, including but not necessarily limited to location, responsibilities of the job, and alignment with market data. When determining a salary for this role, the following factors may be taken into consideration - contract-specific affordability, education, knowledge, skills, competencies and experience.
