Job Function:
Primary job functions are to work and resolve everyday production issues/defects within defined SLAs in a fast-paced environment.
Required to interact and work with Business users, Product Owners & Developers on a daily basis.
Should be able to perform the required job duties with no supervision and independently.
Skills:
Must have strong communication skills and expertise in handling business users/customers.
Must have hands-on experience with troubleshooting/root cause analysis/debugging of system issues (mainly production defects/bugs).
Adequate knowledge of SQL/PL-SQL and expertise in writing SQL scripts to perform data analysis & bulk data fixes in production environment.
Hands on experience with any high-level object-oriented programming language (preferably Java) and have ability to make small to medium complexity coding defect fixes.
Fundamental knowledge of GIT, Ajax, Linux/Unix commands
Nice to have: Familiarity with Java Script, JQuery, JSP

Location: Columbus, OH or Houston, TX On Site Must

Job Description:

  • 8+ Years’ experience in IT industry strong data-warehouse and ETL - Abinitio background, along with hands on technical + managerial skills required
  • Excellent grasp on all Components of Ab Initio - GDE, PSETS, PDL Programming, Meta Programming, Web services, Continuous Graphs and usage of Conduct>IT (Plans).
  • Good experience in various Ab-initio parallelism techniques.
  • Knowledge on Abinitio AIR commands and m commands and Unix shell scripting.
  • Knowledge of any database such Oracle, Pl/Sql is a must.
  • Must have knowledge on data warehousing concepts, knowledge on data modelling.
  • Drive the architecture of a project, including authoring functional and design specifications, scalability, testing, quality data flow, and interface.
  • Ability to Lead and Manage team and Interact with End users clients. Worked in Onsite/ Offshore model.
  • Proficient in creating documentation related to design documents, Unit testing, handover, and walk-through documents.
  • Excellent analytical, interpersonal and leadership skills along with excellent oral and written communication skills.

  • Tools and Process to ensure Performance is as per the NFRs identified.
  • Support in Tools deployment and Performance Testing process.
  • Contribution to program deliverables as required.
  • Review Code implemented by Junior Developers.
