Serves as a mentor for skills development and facilitates ongoing development feedback with performance coaches.Works independently on routine assignments. May either assist Supervisors, Managers, or Directors with, or seek guidance on, handling projects of a developmental learning nature.WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED?

Bachelor’s degree in Education, Organizational Development, Behavioral Sciences, Leadership Development or related field.

5 years of Leadership and Organizational experience in progressively more complex assignments and utilizing leadership skills in providing guidance and assessment of team members work processes.

Must have a valid Florida driver’s license.

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Partners with management team members to develop comprehensive training solutions utilizing diverse platforms for both synchronous and asynchronous learning. Provides coaching to enhance performance, mentors team members to develop skills and appropriate behaviors, and communicates departmental policies and procedures. Offers feedback to performance coaches to support ongoing team member development. Continuously validates and updates these programs to ensure their effectiveness and relevance.

Presents formal courses and specialized training that support our core leadership proficiencies and competencies in-person and in virtual platforms. Performs follow-up to evaluate learning application and impact

Researches, assists with the development, and executes creative strategies to foster the organization’s diversity, equity and inclusion (DE&I) goals. Maintains knowledge of diversity-related issues, legislation, and best practices. Helps lead Peoples Gas Employee Resource Groups. Collects and analyzes statistical data to evaluate the company’s population in accordance with standards and goals.

Represents the company in professional associations and meetings and acts as liaison with local educational institutions to stay abreast of developments and best practices in skills and training and development

Research and evaluate new industry products, programs and technologies as appropriate.

Participate in company committees as appropriate and perform other duties as assigned.

WHAT WILL GIVE YOU A COMPETITIVE EDGE?

Master’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Education, or Business Administration preferred. Leadership and Organizational Development experience is highly desired.

Expected to obtain certifications from various Train the Trainer endorsements.

Related natural gas industry.

This role collaborates effectively with team members at all levels including senior leadership within PGS, and Emera affiliates.

Must interact with outside vendors, industry associations, consultants, vendors, contractors, industry/professional associations, and business partners

Normal office environment, with frequent visits to PGS Operations field and work locations across the State of Florida.

Ability to lift to 15 pounds when needed.

Ability to stand and/or sit for a minimum of 7 hours a day.
