Manager, Data Science - Product Manager Data Science - AI/MLDeloitte Technology US is seeking an AI & Analytics Product Manager who will blend their product management expertise with a deep understanding of data, artificial intelligence, and machine learning. This role works virtually on a globally distributed team, but this individual must be based within the continental United States.Recruiting for this role ends on 4th September 2024Work You'll DoThis is an opportunity for an individual who would like to act as the bridge between our data scientists and Deloitte business stakeholders.You'll play a direct role in developing the AI product roadmap within an agile environment: overseeing all aspects of the product lifecycle from ideation to launch (including design, development, testing, deployment, and ongoing maintenance). Additionally, you'll have opportunities to conduct market research and competitive analyses, to identify opportunities for Deloitte's differentiation within the AI & analytics space.Stakeholders include technical and non-technical stakeholders, including a cross-functional agile team including analytics engineers, Human Centered Design Engineers/Designers, web developers, and data engineers.The successful candidate will possess:

Strong critical thinking, analysis, and problem-solving skills

Strong written and oral communication skills

Experience working independently as well as collaboratively across business and technical teams

The Team

The Deloitte Technology Office of CIO (OCIO) Service Assurance team offers analytics services to various teams within the Office of the Chief Information Officer (CIO). They seek to unlock the power of AI and provide actionable insights through specialized analytics and reporting.QualificationsRequired

Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related IT discipline; or equivalent experience

6+ years working in an Information Technology field supporting Data Analytics/Engineering

2+ years product management experience, including defining, developing and launching successful products

Minimum of 1 year people and/or leadership experience

Limited immigration sponsorship may be available

Preferred

Understanding of cloud platforms: Amazon Web Services/AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform/GCP (including their AI/Machine Learning services).

Software development knowledge and understanding of the software development lifecycle, particularly tied to the deployment/scaling of AI models

Familiarity with big data technologies (e.g. Hadoop, Spark, Hive, etc.)

Knowledge of machine learning algorithms, data mining techniques, statistical modeling, and other relevant technologies.

Ability to analyze data, extract insights, and translate them into actionable strategies

Experience partnering with cross-functional business stakeholders to convey complex concepts and translate them to different audiences

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $113,100 to $208,300.
