Relationship Manager - TPA Customer Care (Retirement Solutions)

What You'll DoAs a Relationship Manager within our TPA Customer Care area, you will play a pivotal role in developing and nurturing deep relationships with advisors, unbundled plan sponsors, and third-party administrators operating within our 10M - 200M market segment. You will serve as a strategic partner, offering innovative and tailored solutions to meet our clients' business objectives such as retention, growth, and retirement readiness.Here are a few examples of the kinds of things you'll do:

Collaborate with the TPA, plan sponsor and the advisor on plan features, investments, retirement readiness, services and new opportunities.

Plan level health reviews.

Problem solving complex issues.

Bachelor's degree or 8 years of equivalent experience required and 4+ years retirement industry experience

Must become an associated person of Principal Securities, Inc

Qualified Plan knowledge and unbundled experience strongly preferred (Defined Benefit, Defined Contribution)

Excellent demonstrated leadership, negotiation, presentation, organizational, and problem-solving skills required, as well as outstanding interpersonal, analytical, and oral and written communication skills

Must be assertive and entrepreneurial

Travel required - 25 - 50% (including day and overnight stays combined, and dependent on the territory)

Licensing will be required based on state/federal laws and/or company policy in accordance with current licensing policy. The below licenses are required within 5 months of employment:

Successful Registration as an Investment Company Products/Variable contracts Limited Representative (FINRA Series 6 or equivalent and FINRA Series 63).

Resident Life and Health appointment must be attained.

Salary Range InformationSalary ranges below reflect targeted base salaries. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation for all roles will be based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.Salary Range (Non-Exempt expressed as hourly; Exempt expressed as yearly)$77350 - $182400 / yearTime Off ProgramFlexible Time Off (FTO) is provided to salaried (exempt) employees and provides the opportunity to take time away from the office with pay for vacation, personal or short-term illness. Employees don’t accrue a bank of time off under FTO and there is no set number of days provided.Pension EligibleYesAdditional InformationLocationPrimary locations will be in CA, GA, IL, MD, MN, NY, PA, TX, VA and OH with regional travel expectations.
