Remote Bilingual Linux Application Support/Systems Engineer 6 months Temp to Hire 25-50% Travel Required once converted to fulltime Excellent benefits once converted from temp to perm Required Skills:
Verbal and written SPANISH and ENGLISH
Strong Linux knowledge
Must have an understanding of network topology
Familiar with networking basics
Replace with strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills
Raw curiosity in general-maybe the individual has a rack of Linux servers at home, the love puzzles and solving problems, they want to work with systems, and be a part of installs.
Strong customer Service skills
Strong written and verbal skills
Experience with MySQL or SQL
Virtualization experience a plus
Very strong team environment
Must be open to being on call 1 week every 1-2 months (rotates within group, and is approx. 8-10 calls a week)-On call will not occur until you are full time employee and trained, up and running. You would be on call with a mentor before you're on your own. Must be open to travel. During busy deployment times, paid travel could be anywhere from 25%-50%. This does not mean you will travel all the time, but must be open to it when a deployment takes place. Travel will not occur until you're a full time employee and trained, up and running. Also, you would travel with a mentor before you're on your own. Travel would usually take place in US, and possibly Canada.
