Description ● Act as the primary preparer in month-end and quarter-end close calendar, checklist, and reconciliations● Take ownership and accountability over the preparation of financial statements, supporting schedules, and reports in compliance with US GAAP and relevant reporting standards● Take ownership and accountability over accurate and timely financial reporting to stakeholders● Assist with financial close tools to automate accounting processes where possible● Assist with and prepare technical accounting areas including ASC 842 and others● Develop and implement accounting policies as needed by leveraging technical accounting guidance and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to obtain relevant information for several departments and management● Collaborate with external auditors, prepare audit schedules, and ensure on-time completion of such timelines● Ensure proper accounting procedures, internal controls, and compliance with accounting policies and regulations,● Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts● Prepare journal entriesRequirements ● Have 4+ years of accounting experience, preferably in startup or high-growth environments with 2+ years of experience in a public company● Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, CPA or equivalent preferred● Exhibit strong organizational and time-management abilities● Possess a keen attention to detail and commitment to accuracy● Are a self-starter able to work independently and meet deadlines● Have a knack for making accounting processes smooth and effective.● Can figure stuff out on your own, whether it's from reading or watching tutorials.● Care more about getting results than just putting in time.Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
