Solder Technician (Weekend Shift)Responsibilities
Check foot straps for ESD compliance as needed.
Follow the process sheet for operations.
Adhere to all quality and safety guidelines.
Participate in performance feedback sessions.
Use tools such as tweezers, solder extractor, solder iron, hot air pencil, and hot air reflow.
Perform precise soldering with attention to detail.
Utilize rework aids including solder braid, flux, flux-core solder, and isopropyl alcohol.
Maintain records in the Aegis system, including parts tracking and defect locations.
Enter scrap information into Aegis.
Perform visual inspections to ensure quality at various production stages.
Lift bins of assemblies as required.
Support and adhere to safety, quality, and 5S policies and procedures.
Communicate with the respective supervisor.
Access and interpret product documentation in Aegis.
Interpret customer specifications and requirements as per Aegis.
Communicate findings and quality issues to production staff and supervisors.
Perform NPI 1st Article Inspection activities.
Work to meet production and quality department goals.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Previous electronic manufacturing experience is a plus.
Willingness to cross-train into other production positions.
Ability to keep department records as needed.
Successful completion of position certification courses.

Working 3-12 Hour shifts weekly.
Essential Skills
Proficiency in soldering, PCB assembly, and electronic assembly.
Ability to read and follow production processes.
Knowledge of quality procedures and IPC Standards.
Experience with ESD protocols.
Basic computer skills.
Attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to understand and follow safety policies.
Capability to read and understand customer documentation.
Successful completion of solder certification and position certification.
