RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in search of Technical Architect in Tampa, FL.
Duties:
Architecting and designing technical solutions based on functional and non-functional requirements using Azure IaaS, PaaS and SaaS capabilities for large enterprises
Creating and reviewing architecture and solution design artifacts
Understanding, defining, and documenting customer's security requirements and design public cloud solution as per industry defined cloud security controls including tenant isolation, encryption at rest, encryption in transit, key management, vulnerability assessments, application firewalls, SIEM, etc.
Building public cloud foundation layer to provide the landing zone to the customer to provision Azure resources; It includes hybrid cloud setup by integrating on-premise components with Azure
Performing Infrastructure and workload assessment for cloud suitability using tools like Cloudamize, Movere, MAP, Azure Migrate etc.; Architect various migration and modernization scenarios (rehost, rearchitect, refactor, rebuild) for On-prem to Azure and perform the migration to Azure using Azure Site Recovery (ASR)
Analyzing and identifying the operational activities to be automated. Work with operations team to automate cloud operations using Ansible, Terraform, Azure Automation, scripting languages and ARM templates
Managing existing and implementing new DevOps pipelines (Azure DevOps)
Identifying and documenting platform's monitoring and logging requirement that defines the operational metrics and threshold for core and platform cloud services; Integrating Azure monitoring services with on-premise ITSM tools (ServiceNow)
Developing DR solutions and providing inputs on disaster recovery scope and scenarios for Azure IaaS and PaaS services
Developing chargeback model: Identify and define the cloud services consumption structure
