Vehicle Equipment InstallerJob DescriptionThis is a long-term temporary position where the installer will be working at our customer's site. The schedule is Monday to Friday, 7am - 4pm, with optional overtime.Responsibilities

Disassemble and reinstall automotive trim and body panels without damage.

Perform factory-like installations of perimeter lighting, lightbars, siren controllers, and speakers.

Read and interpret schematics, installation diagrams, and instructions.

Install push bumpers, vehicle partitions, vehicle storage boxes, computer docking stations, and other police vehicle-related equipment.

Understand and install 12-volt DC powered equipment such as lighting, siren controllers, speakers, relays, controllers, computer equipment, and battery chargers.

Ensure clean and professional routing and/or fabricating of wire harnesses.

Preferred but not required: knowledge of Radio Frequency (RF) test equipment including watt meters and connector types and usage.

Tools

Impact driver (similar to drill).

Sockets + wrenches.

Flashlight or headlamp.

Wire strippers.

Wire crimpers.

Panel pullers.

IF TOOL BREAKS COMPANY WILL PAY FOR IT.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Two or more years of experience in electronics and/or electrical equipment preferred.

Ability to stand and bend throughout the workday.

Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.

Willingness to work in a non-air conditioned and/or outdoor environment.

Self-motivating and able to represent the company at all levels within the organization.

Valid US driver's license and a clean driving record for the past five years.
