Chef Opportunity

Four new, creative restaurant openings in Tampa Bay, searching for chefs, talent, partners, operators. We are searching for more than a chef or a cook this is looking for talented chefs with a business mind. Can you execute a business beginning to end? If not, we are also training and/or assisting in development as we have concepts in mind. Two are complete, opening soon. The other two waiting on your input. Therefore, we can execute what we've proven or give lead way to those that prove otherwise. Two of the properties are built with you in mind, creating a partner opportunity. The other two concepts are set, complete concepts that will be run with traditional kitchens and procedures. We are searching for leaders in those kitchens as well.

This is for a kitchen personality. A self starter. A marketer. Someone hungry to do their own thing. Both venues are small, perfect opportunities to get in on the ground floor and show your own personality and skill.

Tampa is growing fast, it is also acquiring more and more talent. Every community can convert their talent into a brick and mortar, that is the essence of our society. Often government regulations and excessive costs limit self starters. We have handled that. We have the bricks, short or long term, in town or out.The spaces just need you, your input and your opening.

We are seeking personable, talented Chefs to assist in the development and execution of our menus, bar experience, and teams as well as for the two places we are considering assisting you in developing your own.

We will help mitigate the risk, as we've taken on the upfront costs. Are you ready?

The candidate(s) will be collaborating with our sibling kitchens, ensuring the brand excellence known to us. No concept is the same, thus always looking for new and creative people. This opportunity to join seasoned operators that value team members and their ongoing growth and success is exciting. It is also an opportunity to change a community forever. Charleston SC was changed by Chef's, today well known as one of Americas greatest food towns. We have come to Tampa hoping to inspire more culinary excellence.

There can be great potential for the right candidate. Food menus are only a piece of that fit, as more important to guests are the experience, the execution, the guest relations, the marketing and the understanding of financial responsibility and high value.

The two particular venues seeking "unique and personable chefs" will be upscale, small facilities built on the skill of the chef and reviews of the diners. The concepts will be rooted in bringing high quality food to a wider variety of demographics, meaning high value and low costs. We are not interested in $200 tasting menus. Rather, how can we do that for the working class an the well to do? To do so, the candidate must be efficient, cost conscious, and creative in curating ingredients. Approachable is the word that may best describe the project.

Applicants should display a strong skill set for traditional techniques, local ingredients, and entire concepts. The venues are small, therefore you are the team. This is not a place you build from home. You are the greeter, cook, and all the rest. You are the face, the personality and the skill. You are the reason the patorns come in. You should be considered part farmer, part efficiency technician, part warm and welcoming personality, and 100% driven. These venues will be educational without being overbearing, as the idea is to inform Tampa how and why the food culture is bettering here. We will also be sure it is approachable to all demographics, making its top priority welcoming all guests. The experience matters as much, or more, than the menu. If you have a gift for making others feel great in your environment, we have built the perfect environment for you to do that.

Traditional Applicants:

Taking all the responsibility alone is not everyone's dream or skill set. It takes a very unique individual to walk from the day job, starting a dream job. Not everyone has the guts for risk and not everyone should, so we also welcome Chefs to apply for the kitchens we have developed and operating. Either way, we want to meet and at least explore the opportunity. Even if you chose the more traditional work journey, we do offer potential partnerships there as well. From bonus to profit sharing, our goal is to develop and retain excellent people. Our original venue has had the same staff for over 12 years.
