We're looking for bartenders to serve at a weekend-long event we host at Withlacoochee River Park (near Dade City) each year. It's a large camper van gathering/festival called Peace Love & Vans. We have a small Tiki Bar on the site that serves frozen slushie cocktails (Pina Coladas and Margaritas) as well as beer (in cans) and wine (served in plastic glasses).
We have 3x, 8-hour shifts that run from 4pm to midnight over the course of the weekend (Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights). This is an hourly job that pays $22 per hour and you'll have the ability to set up a tip jar at the bar.
There would be a total of 3x shifts from 3pm to midnight on Friday, March 7th, Saturday, March 8th and Sunday, March 9th. In addition, we would ask you to come for a 2-hour (paid) training on Thursday, March 6th at 2pm.
You should have experience bartending a great attitude and have obtained or be willing to obtain a Responsible Vendor certificate in Florida. Ideally you have some experience preparing mixes for slushie machines but we can train you on this.
This is a great opportunity to make a little extra money in a fun environment over the course of a weekend.
