We are looking for a couple of line cooks and a dishwasher to add to our team. We are gearing up for season and would like to get a few extra hands in the kitchen and trained up so you are confident once season hits. Our menu is pretty simple and straight forward, our line has 3 stations fry, grill & salad/expo. No super late nights. Kitchen closes at 9pm during the week and 10pm on Friday & Saturday. Closed on Monday.
Free meal per shift and a shift drink when you clock out :)
LINE COOK: Previous experience in a high volume kitchen is preferred
Responsibilities
Set up and stocking your station with all necessary supplies
Prepare food for service (e.g. chopping vegetables, cutting fish, or preparing sauces)
Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
Clean up station and take care of leftover food
Stock inventory appropriately
Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion
Comply with sanitation regulations and safety standards
Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers
Skills
Proven cooking experience, including experience as a line cook, restaurant cook or prep cook
MULTITASKING
Accuracy and speed in executing assigned task
Ideal candidates should have some previous kitchen experience, be able to multi task, be comfortable in fast paced high volume environment and posses a good attitude.
