Patient details:
The patient is my mother. She is diagnosed with Parkinson's, and is younger than most with her diagnosis. She lives at a nursing home and has limited mobility. Because of her being younger than most diagnosed, she still has the desire to socialize and live life as normally as she can. She is able to groom herself, speak, and move herself in the wheelchair, but her mobility varies throughout the day. Sometimes she cannot move or speak well at all. She is kind-hearted and warm, and from her words “just wants more company sometimes.”
