Responsibilities
Taking x-rays and reviewing them for signs of dental diseases
Screening patients during check-ups
Reviewing a patient’s dental history
Recommending care to improve a patient’s oral health
Teaching patients about proper teeth cleaning techniques
Performing preventative dental care/cleaning
Applying fluoride treatments
Present Treatment Plan per doctor’s notes/recommendations
Manage patient pre-screening and clinical preparation for upcoming surgery
Manage post-surgery of patients
Provide oversight of equipment and supply readiness for upcoming surgeries
Provide oversight of patient readiness for upcoming surgeries through workshops
and general communication
Skills
Proven work experience (minimum 3 years) as a Registered Dental Hygienist
Proficiency in Dental Software (Eagle Soft or Dentrix) is a plus
Proficiency in English; Spanish is a plus
Computer proficiency
Excellent communication and people skills
Good organizational and multi-tasking abilities
Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) with the State of Florida
