Seeking an in-home caregiver, preferrably someone with home health aid experience, in a private residance in Apollo Beach FL for my father who is in his late 70's with mixed Alzheimer's and vascular dementia, who has expressive aphasia, cognitive decline, decreased mobility (ambulates with a walker) and recovering from a recent hip fracture that occurred when he was wandering at night. Lives with his loving wife who is healthy but also in her late 70's. Caregiver services are preferably needed overnight (8-12 hours/day, flexible) to care for my father while he is sleeping to help prevent falls when he may be getting in/out of bed, wandering, and/or ambulating to the bathroom. Additional services could include toileting, bathing/dressing, mobility assistance, medication prompting, and companionship. Male caregiver would be ideal, as my father would be more likely to cooperate with them, but welcome all applicants. Caregiver services needed Monday through Friday, although schedule may vary, is flexible, and can negotiate based on applicant availability. Weekends as needed. Experience with Alzheimer's dementia is preferred. Non-smoker. English speaking. Huge bonus if applicant Ukrainian speaking, but absolutely not required.
