LPN and Medical Assistants, this is a great opportunity to work alongside our provider teams traveling to senior living communities throughout the Tampa, FL area. Our unique care model provides comprehensive and focused care to patients where they live.
Duties include facilitating an efficient, organized clinical flow, pre-rounding, chart prepping, medication reconciliation,Âkeeping EMR up to date and assisting with provider paperwork.Â
HOURS: Mon-Thurs: 7am 4pm / 8am - 5pm (working in the field)
Friday: 8am - 3pm (working from home, no patients seen on Fridays)
Responsibilities include:
-AssistÂprovidersÂand facilitateÂan efficient, organized clinical flow
-Interact with patients for annual wellness visits and document as necessary
-Pre-rounding and/or rounding with providers while updating EMR
-EnsureÂelectronic medical records are accurately updated on a daily basis
-SetÂup e-prescriptions under direct supervision of providers
-Medication reconciliation
-WorkÂindependently and with provider teams, internal staff, and facility staff
-TakeÂnotes and documentÂobservations alongside provider during patient visits
-MonitorÂpatient portalÂmessages,ÂsummarizeÂfor provider as necessary
Qualifications:
-Graduate of an accredited LPN program, active FL license requiredÂ
-Medical Assistant certification or registration through accredited program required
-Comfortable navigating electronic medical record systems and working with patient care notes
