A well-established company located in Clearwater, FL is looking for some new employees to join our team!
Our team of staff has been providing care to individuals with disabilities for over 6 years. We currently have a bi-weekly live-in position available. This position is 7 days on and then 7 days off, the shift begins every Monday at 9 am and ends the following Monday at 9 am, every other Monday. This will give the staff a week off after working for a week. There is a shared staff bedroom and bathroom that staff can use while working.
This individual is a total care client who uses a power wheelchair to get around, she has a ceiling lift that is used to get her in and out of bed every day. She is a diabetic and self-administers her insulin shots. She also uses a urostomy bag. She requires assistance in many aspects of her daily life and at home. She will require meals to be cooked for her, as well as bathing, changing, dressing, etc. She enjoys being active in helping around her house with her daily tasks and wants to be involved in caring for herself and her home as much as possible. She enjoys reading, coloring, and doing puzzles in her downtime with her staff.
PLEASE READ JOB REQUIREMENTS
-Must be able to pass a level 2 background check
-Must have a high school diploma (or equivalent)
-Must have or be willing to complete the trainings required by the state.
-Must have an active Drivers license and Social Security card (or work visa)
-Must be willing to complete service logs for the service you provide to the individuals.
